Acer’s K10 pico projector is designed in a way that it can be carried along with a laptop oftenly, it has more worth for those people who are acting as a travelling sales staff. It may help sales staff to show something practically to a customer. It was introduced in market in March and available to purchase now, the K10 is a very small and compact projector as compare to other projectors, The size of Acer’s k10 pico projector is unimaginable, it is just 12cm square and about 4.5cm high. It’s just similar to a bedside clock radio in size. As i earlier mentioned that it’s weight is just half a kilogram. So it’s not a big deal to carry it with a laptop. There are very simple steps to be taken for it’s set up and use, and we will be able to get clear images quickly within few minutes without seeing any user manual. The Acer’s K10 pico projector is not built to meet the need of a full-sized meeting room in it’s performance, but it matched with the need of a person who need to give an ad hoc presentation on a wall or other suitable surface. The resolution of k10 is comparatively low to other projectors, it is just 858×600.

The K10 projector is built with a LED lamp technology, this time acer lefts the fragile bulb technology, so now there is nothing to be worry about. This LED lamp has a lifetime of 20,000 hours, which means user may never need to replace it. As well as being small, the K10 has a very simple design.It has just two input points: a VGA-style connector to a computer and an RCA jack for composite video.
The K10 is rated at 100 ANSI Lumens for it’s brightness, and it has a contrast ratio of 1000:1. It is used for short distances,it produce a display up to 50in (127cm) across the diagonal from about two metres away. You can access the colour settings and other adjustments with the help of on-screen menu function. At the time of turning off, it shows a warning not to unplug the power supply in a situation when the fan is still running, presumably to allow the lamp to cool to a safe temperature. The power LED shows blue colour at the time of normal working but it glows in red colour at the time of shutingdown, which tooks nearly about 10 seconds. The K10 pico projector is available from Acer’s web site, or via Acer resellers. It is backed by a two-year carry-in warranty, with a 90-day warranty covering the lamp.
