Hey guys, so are you ready to watch 3D oceans and rivers, right from Godavari to Pacific. Till now you were completely into Google Earth but now you can watch every thing as identical as that of it but in a more pictoriate as well as 3D form. Google has launched with a new Specialised form i.e Google Ocean. It was created by Keyhole Inc. It is a company acquired by Google in the year 2004. It works as the super cover of the images caught by satellite, aerial photography as well as 3D globe. It basically deals in exploration of Oceans.People can also see the underwater topography.With the help of this you can even search for particular spots.
It can run on windows platforms , linux as well as MAC platforms…The best part of Google Earth is that it has the capability to show 3D buildings and structures (such as bridges), that consist of users’ submissions using SketchUp, a 3D modeling program.It also allows users to zoom below the surface of the ocean.
Google has also added a new feature which allows users to monitor traffic speeds at loops located every 200 yards in real-time.
Google earth is made almost for everyone .It is availabe in 37 languages for your convienence.
Partly Google Earth was inspired by a Silicon Graphics demo called “From Space to in Your Face” .It zoomed from space into the Swiss Alps then into the Matterhorn [18]. This launch demo was hosted by a Onyx 3000 with InfiniteReality4[19] graphics. It supported Clip Mapping and was inspired by the hardware texture paging capability.
