   Hi Prateek,
   the QR code did not lead me anywhere so i googled it and got myself appstoSD2….installed the same…..my phone is already rooted…superuser granted the necessary permissions…then i went to the appstoSD app and opened it…..it asked me for partioning so i went ahead and partioned as per the slider and allocated about 400mb on ext2 partition…..it said done and asked me to reboot…when i rebooted and checked for partitions …it did not exist…..tell me where i went wrong …i have a SE X10 Mini Pro 2.1 update 1

   @ranjit:- there are some problems with the older version of appstosd.
   Download a new version and also re format ur SD card manually and if possible partition it manually as well. Then i am sure it will go fine..

   how did u do that move to sd its not possible in 2.1(eclair) i’ve tried many ways app2sd could not be installed in 2.1 i am running on low space please help prateek.

   hi i am using motorola xt 502 iam also facing low disk problem i have tried appstosd2.apk but it not working where can i get the latest version of this one. and i wanne know it won’t create any problem to make my mobile rooted??

   u think it is so simple. but if go to application manager and click on a app if the MOVE TO SD is not there what can we do. i have Motorola milestone, Android2.1. i Didn’t found it. if you guys wont believe i can upload a pic of that menu.

    guys follow my steps
    1)root ur mobile
    2)install app2card search in google and using this partition ur sd card
    3)download link2sd from market
    4)move apps to sd thats all

    I rooted my phone (2.1) and I partitioned my sd card into 2 partitions , both FAT32 primary 3.7GB and when i open link2sd and select either ext 2 or ext 3 I get an error message
    “Mount scrip error
    Mount scripe cannot be created.
    mount: no such device
    ext 2 may not be supported on your device. Try FAt32 on the second partition”

    Has anyone come across this problem before ?

    noway can apps be installed on sd card on eclair. rooting you phone will leave it vulnerable and can even brick your phone making it absolutely useless
