The world eagerly anticipated the release of the next generation of iPhones. Indeed, most people were expecting to see an iPhone 5, hoping for something completely different and innovative in response to the iPhone 4. Instead, the iPhone 4S was released, with a very similar exterior design, but interior mechanisms that had been amped up slightly. The release of the iPhone 4S was somewhat anti-climactic, but is still getting mostly positive reviews from iPhone lovers who simply can’t get enough of Apple’s mobile technology.
The iPhone 4S though very similar at first glance to the iPhone 4, does still manifest a few changes that may prove important to iPhone users. The iPhone 4S has the power and lock button on the top of the model. Also on the top of the iPhone is a headphone jack and a microphone that performs a noise cancellation function. The right side of the iPhone 4S doesn’t have any buttons to speak of, giving iPhone users the chance to explore what it’s like to not worry about accidentally hitting buttons unintentionally as they grasp the iPhone on both sides. The micro SIM card is located on the right side of the iPhone rather than buttons. The SIM card pops out using an included tool.
Though the iPhone 4S has not changed significantly on the outside, it has gotten upgraded pretty significantly on the outside, putting it in the ranks with the Samsung Galaxy S2. Some people agree with this statement about the iPhone 4S and some people disagree. You may have to give the iPhone 4S a try and see for yourself.
The iPhone 4S has undergone some fairly obvious changes to it’s functionality. In particularly, the iPhone 4S has a better camera than the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4S camera has a better aperture ratio. It’s been upgraded to 8 MP, making it an awesome on the go camera for capturing the moment-to-moment of daily life. For the most part, iPhone 4S users are pretty satisfied and excited about the improvements to the iPhone 4S camera.
The iPhone 4S also includes an improved CPU (central processing unit). It’s basically the same CPU with a dual-core A5 processor that is found in the iPad 2. The end result of installing a better CPU in the iPhone 4S means that this little phone has seven times the graphic processing power as that of the iPhone 4. And people do love graphics. IPhone apps utilizing the iPhone 4S graphical power and augmented photographic abilities promise to keep iPhone users excited and on the edge of their seats waiting for the release of the iPhone 6.
The iPhone 4S has been imbibed with Siri, Apple’s voice recognition software. The consensus is not yet in on whether or not iPhone fans will really see the value in the voice recognition software or whether it will turn out to be nothing but just a gimmick in the iPhone 4S.
Of course the verdict is still not in on the overall opinion of the iPhone 4S, but one thing is for sure. The iPhone 6 is eagerly anticipated and iPhone fans are still in love with the Apple’s mobile technology.
