I have come across many people who either cannot afford to buy an android phone or want to play and fiddle with the current phone. But apart from this have you imagined if you can really change the OS of your mobile phones as we do it on the computer. Its a tough task, reason being we have a very less knowledge of mobile phones and can end-up damaging it. I wanted to have my hands-on experience published on the site. If you can follow the below given steps appropriately i am sure you will have the Android OS on your Nokia phones.
* Note :- This trick is only for s60v5 versions.
:- Backup your phone before you perform any stance on it
Here we go.
- Download GDesk.rar from following linkhttp://www.ziddu.com/download/9183034/GDesk.rar.html
- Extract the folder and rename it as “ +GDesk “.
- Copy the same folder on your phone memory.
- Go to +GDeskGdesk v0.33g Install SIS And install all applications, files listed below

GDesk.0.33g.SIS GDeskAgnViewS60.0.33g.sis GDeskClockS60.0.33g.sis GDeskInfoViewS60.0.33g.sis GDeskNotepadS60.0.33g.sis GDeskShortcutsS60.0.33g.sis GDeskTaskManS60.0.33g.sis
- The phone will not allow you to install it and give an error as ” Certificate is expired “
You have to sign the application and install it
How can you sign an application? Generate a certificate using this site and sign it.
Or try a self signing application using application called FreeSigner - Now from the installed applications run GDesk again.
- Tap your screen, then click on Design >> Load Design
select Android 2.1.gdd from your phoneLocation : Memory card+GDeskAndroid 2.1.gdd
- Now go to options and tick following option for better result
Replace Main
Full Screen
Hide title caption
Disable menu tap - This trick is executable only for 5230, 5800, 5235 and 5233

Go to Application Manager and Uninstall all Gdesk named apps……………
Uninstall “Freesigner”
