These days the concept of WI-FI enabled campus has become quite common and school and colleges claims to provide complete access to web in every corner, however they restrict the access to many of the sites. Social Networking is no doubt a big technical advancement which came in recent times, but as per the colleges and schools they are in the list of the restrict things which are not allowed to be accessed on college/school WIFI or terminal access.

For students accessing the social networking sites like Facebook and Orkut are like daily routine and apart from this youtube and other sites are also quite useful in many scenarios. However institutions still have that old image of social networking and products like Youtube and hence they restrict the access to these sites.

  • Using Cached Pages

Search engines like Google cache the pages of every sites which they indexed, you can simple search out the page from google and can see the cached page on the right side by using the arrow which displayed when you roll the mouse cursor end the end of URL in the search result. This way you get the indirect access to the blocked sites.
